It was indeed a pressure cooker situation and the inaugural IPL (Indian Premiere League) with its famous encounters on and off the pitch, more particularly the reported argument with Shah Rukh Khan, must have surely given ample stress to former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly. The Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain seems to be getting away from all the angst in the plush and verdant environs of Amby Valley. After Hours spotted him in a casual T-shirt and trek pants, chilling out. And all rumours of problems on his personal front were quietly laid to rest by the presence of his dancer wife Dona.
The couple has been spending peaceful ‘together’ moments at their home in the World Cup arcade in Lonavala. A source from the valley says, “We had organised a tree plantation programme (World Environment Day) and Sourav agreed to participate in the event.” He adds, “Sourav and Dona have been here since the past two days. They come here at least twice or thrice in a year to relax and have fun.”
Also, Souvrav makes no compromises when it comes to holidays. He makes sure that the chefs in the valley specially cook Bengali cuisine for him. “Sourav loves Bengali cuisine and he always asks our chefs to conjure up mouth-watering dishes,” confirms our source.
