INX News ropes in Sourav Ganguly as brand ambassador

New Delhi (PTI): Upcoming channel INX News, the news arm of the INX network, on Monday roped in cricketer Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador.
Sourav will present a show on NewsX and will be actively involved with the channel's programming, INX Media Pvt Ltd said in a release.
He will work closely with the NewsX sports team to ensure that the channel has the best sports coverage, it said.
Ganguly will also be the brand ambassador for INX News and will eventually play a role in the entertainment programming for 9X, the network's Hindi entertainment channel, it added.
The English news channel is scheduled to be launched in the spring of next year.
