Sourav has 2 Man of the Series awards in Tests.

    Date: June-July 1996

     Performance:  Sourav  made his Test debut in the 2nd Test & made 131 runs in the 1st innings.

     He  also took 3 wickets.  In  the  3rd test,  he  scored a 136  in  the  1st  innings  and  joined  the

     few great players in world cricket  who  have scored  centuries  in  their  1st two innings.  He also

     scored  48 runs in the 2nd innings. Sourav  shared  the  Man of the  Series  with  Nasser  Hussain

     Sourav scored 315 runs at an average of 105 and took 6 wickets! England won the series 1-0.

     Performance: Sourav made 2 100s and a 99 in 3 Tests, which included a career-best 173 in the

     3rd Test.  He scored almost  400 runs in four  innings and narrowly missed out on 3 back-to-back

     100s. The series was drawn 0-0.

     Performance:  Sourav a whopping 534 runs in 3 Tests at an average of 89.00. Sourav scored 8,

     48, 102, 46, 239, and 91 in 6 innings. He also took 4 wickets to take India to a 1-0 series win

     over Pakistan. Dada was the highest scorer in the series.
